Pocket Monsters: The Animation - Table of Contents

Hey there! Here on this blog, I plan to provide translations of the obscure "Pocket Monsters: The Animation" novels, written by Takeshi Shudo, head writer of the original Pokémon TV series. Anyway, I hope you please enjoy these novels and feel free to provide feedback in the comments sections.

Pocket Monsters: The Animation

A resident of Kanagawa prefecture. Despite being a terrible writer made his screenwriting debut at the age of 19. Has done various work since. Eventually worked on anime, novels, plays, etc. Notable works include “Warring States Demon GoShogun” and “Magical Princess Minky Momo” among others. Further details may be divulged at a later opportunity.

What are you....a social justice keyboard warrior? SJKW? Well, it is fiction...are you going to say the death of of a city is unacceptable because I wrote that a huge monster killed of a city and you reading it and think "Oh, that is NOT ON, I'm going to report this."

Oh haha, very funny. No, not everyone who objects to something is an SJW. Do you call anyone who hates Jungle Emperor Taitei & Onward Leo an SJW for Ozamu Tezuka drawing black people as what can only be described as blackface (even if that was how everyone drew black people back then)? Or people who are into BDSM who complain about Fifty Shades of Grey for Christian raping Ana because the author didn't research BDSM and instead used completely false stereotypes? (All the BDSM acts come off as fetish retardant to people who are actually involved in the subculture, mostly because it's a wildly inaccurate portrayal, and in fact feeds into some of the community's most hated misconceptions. (Mainly, that a dom/sub relationship completely negates the sub's right to say "no," or that being into BDSM is the same as being an abusive partner.))

I'm not the only one who thinks it's disgusting that 10-year-olds are allowed to get married and have kids — nearly everyone agrees to that, even if they don't bring it up here.

Also, destroying cities is a regular thing in superhero, kaiju, war, and apocalypse fiction. It's a way of showing a supervillain is evil, the destructive force of bombs and nuclear missiles, or just an effect of a massive monster like Godzilla stomping around a city not meant to accommodate something his size. It is nowhere near the same level as believing a 10-year-old should be allowed to have kids.

Sorry, I was just fed up with people jumping up and down even to the most insignificant piece of thing, to the point I may as well call them SJKWs....

As for your examples, I don't actually know any of them...so can't relate to them much...

So violence is ok in fiction but anything more than that like 10 year olds allowing to have kids off the table for you? Ok, whatever, I won't argue (I swear you baited me....) - it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Have a nice day or night.
